In a small town nearby Normandië, France I bought some hooks at a local bikeshop (They only sold them by the hundred). After I used a few of them the others where lying around in my tacklebox for quit some years. On the picture you can see the manufactorer and the specifications of the hooks, but as far as I'm concerned you can use all hooks with a long shaft, that have an eye.

I put two hooks trough a piece of shrinking tube with a diameter of 2.4 mm , put the eyes trough a thick savetypin an put it in boiling water. The great advantage of this "double hooks" (according to me) are:
  1. The fit exactly in a splitring and leave little room to turn, and therefore sit nicely on both sides of the lure without damaging the lure much (The splitring has to be in the lenght of the lure).
  2. You can use your own ideas about hooks and trebles.
  3. It's very cheap.

From my own experiance I can tell that they catch fish rather well. I hope others see something in it too,
