Up

Build a spinner axis ,with one eye, of approximately 12 mm long. And with a diameter of 0.5 or 0.6 mm. Finish the bonds with a piece of shrinking tube.

Slide the spinnerblade up the axis. Then slide a solid brass bead up the axis.

Cut a piece of (hard) tubing to the correct size, and slide it up the axis.Instead of tubing, you can also use te hollow stick of a cotton-woolstick. Like we used in the example. Or the isolation of electricity-wire.

Bend an eye at the end of the axis and if neccesary, cut the steel end to the right size. In such a way that the tubing can slide over the end of the spinneraxis.

The last thing to do is to put a hook or treble in the eye and slide the tubing over the end towards the eye. This way you close the lock.

As you can see there are many ways of decorating your hooks and trebles. Use little twistertails or just a piece of tubing. If you want you can also use some bucktail or feathers for decoration. The only limit is your imagination.
