To make this crankbait you need:
- Wood, beech, 16 mm thick
- Screw-eyes RVS, 26 mm long
- Lexaan sheet, 3 mm dik
- Gamakatsu trebbles, 1/0 (2x)
- Splitrings RVS, 2 pieces
Draw the stencil on the wood. Saw it out accurately. Then saw the slot for the lip. Make sure that the slot is straight.
Round the edges with a wood-rasp and a file. Paint the body with a white primer. Sand it lightly with a fine sandpaper, and repeat this two times. Eventually the body is painted with primer three times.
Apply the finish you want. When the finish is dry, you can glue the lip in with epoxy-glue.
You make the lip by drawing the stencil on the sheet and cutt it out. This also needs to be done accurately. Otherwise you don't get the action you want. Sand the edges of the lip and glue it in the crankbait. The lip is also available at Moore's Lures.
Finish the crankbait with some boat-paint or other lacquer. Apply the screw-eyes. Attach the splitrings and the trebles.
And the DIVANI Twitchbait is ready.
