Leadholes
- 15 cm Darter:
Front: 10 mm diameter, 12 mm deep.
Back : 10 mm diameter, 9 mm deep.
- 13 cm Divani Slapper:
Front: 10 mm diameter, 9 mm deep.
Back : 10 mm diameter, 7 mm deep.
- 11 cm Divani 2:
Front: 8 mm diameter, 10 mm deep.
Back : 8 mm diameter, 7 mm deep.
Make sure that the leadholes are exactly centered on the Darter. Otherwise the lure hangs to one side.
Weights
- 15 cm Darter: +/- 80g
- 13 cm Divani Slapper: +/- 60g
- 11 cm Divani 2: +/- 50g
Shape
Just round off all edges with a woodrasp or woodfile.
Make sure that the nose-eye is exactly in the center.
Hooks
Gamakatsu trebles:
- 15 cm Darter: size 1/0
- 13 cm Divani Slapper: size 1
- 11 cm Divani 2: size 2
If u use trebles of another brand go up one size.
Type of jerkbait
Slowsinking gliders. You can built the divani 2 (11cm) from 16mm thick beech
wood as well and they need about 3.5g of lead in the front and rear leadhole
to make them sink slowly. It glides even better than the 18mm thick version.
